NYC Arts: The Complete Guide to Art and Culture

Art Resources for Teachers and Students, also known as ARTS, is a cultural resource center that works in neighborhoods of New York's Lower East Side. Inspired by the richness of local cultural traditions, ARTS strives to help young people, teachers, families and neighbors explore their own cultural heritage. The organization has served residents since 1970 through programming in four essential areas: Community Arts, Folklore and Language, Publications and the School Program.
